Depending where on your body a skin malignancy can be found may influence your choice of consultant.  For example a skin cancer to the head and neck would most probably be treated by a Maxillofacial Surgeon, whereas a lesion on the face or breast may be treated by a Plastic Surgeon or even a Consultant Dermatologist or Laser Nurse Practitioner.
