Consultant Overview: Mr Roger Smith is a consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a long established practice in all fields. His specialist areas of interest cover breast and facial cosmetic surgery and cancer surgery. He also has an interest in body contouring such as abdominoplasty and liposuction. After training and research in London, Glasgow and Bristol he took up an NHS consultancy at the renowned plastic surgery centre at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead in 1990. During the last ten years he has developed plastic surgery services in West Kent opening NHS clinics in Sevenoaks, Dartford and Maidstone. These provide expertise in skin cancer, trauma and reconstructive surgery. He has two sub specialty interests - breast surgery and oncological surgery of the head and neck. He works closely with breast surgeons and their teams in Kent, Sidcup and Bromley to provide NHS and private breast reconstructive surgery. He performs a range of private facial rejuvenation techniques including face lifting, eyelid and nasal surgery, as well as all aspects of aesthetic breast surgery. His practice also covers body contouring by abdominoplasty and liposuction. Mr Smith sees private patients at both East Grinstead and McIndoe Consulting rooms in Tunbridge Wells.
