Consultant Overview:	Caroline is the longest practising laser nurse practitioner in the country. She started off her career in intensive care nursing; well equipped with a good understanding of the ability of technology to assist patients she became interested in laser treatments. Caroline received her training under a consultant dermatologist who specialised in lasers at the Institute of Dermatology in London. In the early 1990’s she set up the first laser clinic in the UK and has since gone on to train doctors and nurses in the safe and varied use of skins lasers. Always keen to learn more on a subject she is passionate about has led to Caroline obtaining a BTEC in Cutaneous and Vascular Laser Applications. A laser clinic is held at McIndoe Surgical Centre on Monday and Thursday by appointments. Patients are welcome to self refer or seek a GP referral letter.
