McIndoe Surgical Centre

Within the large air conditioned theatre complex there are three main operating theatres, each with its own adjacent anaesthetic room. A central recovery suite allows post-operative patients to be closely monitored by state of the art equipment, before they are returned to their own bedroom.

All surgical instruments are decontaminated on site through McIndoe Surgical Centre’s Sterile Supplies Department. This is one of only a few SSD departments in a private hospital to have gained accreditation as a manufacturer, and as such, undertakes work for many NHS Trusts.
