Jacqueline Kennedy, 51, was nipped and tucked on national TV. Her new look boosted her confidence.

By the time I had my consultation with surgeon Mr Peter Arnstein at the McIndoe Surgical Centre in East Grinstead shortly before Christmas, reality hit. I believed I might be chosen.
