The McIndoe Surgical Centre welcomes the announcement by the Chief Medical Officer of the need for tougher standards and regulation for Cosmetic surgery. The McIndoe Surgical centre has developed a Fellowship training post for Cosmetic Surgery, thought to be the only one of it’s kind in England. The three month post is funded by the McIndoe Surgical centre and give young surgeons the opportunity to train in Cosmetic surgery before applying for a Consultants post. The post is recognised by the Specialist Advisory Committee in Plastic Surgery and counts towards the certificate of completion of specialist training. This unique specialised programme is part of our committment to the fundamental requirement for quality cosmetic care.
