Being embarrassed is something that goes with the territory when you are a teenager. However a Katie Philips from Co Down is able to put the past behind her. Disguising a part of her body became a daily ritual for affected her confidence and made her envy her friends who could bare their legs in the summer. Having had a large growth on her leg meant this self conscious young lady couldn’t wear cute little skirts or shorts without revealing her disfiguring secret.
